I loved AJFO, liked The Black Album, 'borrowed' Load and Reload, then didn't listen to them for a while. I don't want to sound like a sell out but I think I'm liking the new stuff.

I like Metallica, but am not a hard core fan.
As good as some of their stuff is, they have about half a dozen songs with the exact same melody. Imho, there is a steep drop off from their best stuff to the rest of their stuff.
I do think Nothing Else Matters is the best power ballad of all time. Too bad most Metallica fans don't like power ballads.
