Dec 19, 08 11:51 am — T'was the week before Christmas and all 'round the net, fOx was rushing to get things done and all set.
A stop at Amazon, a brief visit to Chapters. Why is it all the kids these days want those damn robotic raptors?!
A trip to the big city was looming ahead, while news of the soon to strike "snow-maggedon" filled him with dread.
The car was packed with gifts for one and all and things would be just fine if it wasn't for the 18-inch snow fall.
Still, with the car in its snowtires and fOx in his hat we were all prepared for the four hour spat.
So off we set to deliver the loot, while visions of unappreciative kids made us hoot.
"I wanted the red one," Sally was sure to say. Which is exactly the thing that would ruin fOx's day.
When suddenly from the lawn arose such a clatter, that fOx realized someone had tripped on his ladder.
A neighbour was struggling in the snow after his fall, fOx realized the neighbour didn't really steal the ladder after all.
A fruitcake he brought to brighten fOx's day, "how thoughtful" fOx said while secretly planning to give it away.
And as fOx settled into the driver's seat behind the wheel, he pretended to wave goodbye to the neighbour with zeal.
The neighbour stood and waved as fOx drove out of sight. So fOx rolled down his window screaming "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"

Happy holiday's Madville... I am gone until next weekend!!!!

"Why, of course, the people don't want war. Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia
