see i like PC gaming for all the modding and stuff, but i hate having to upgrade to play newer games. Sometimes I just want to throw on a game and know it will run fine.

I used to play a ton of pc games when I was younger, but I got a 360 as a wedding gift so I've been up on that for awhile. Besides I was also getting sick pf having to buy new graphics cards when games I wanted to play came out.
I generally find that a video card will last a couple of years if you don't want to run games with the settings maxed out. Then after a couple of years, you can buy another medium end video card and be set again for a while. But then again, I play FPSers which just aren't as much fun on the consoles so I can justify it.
You can also get the SLI linked cards now...buy one and then when you need it, buy the other and run them both....just have to make sure you motherboard has the appropriate slots...

PS2 never got the ethernet thinger installed, and I just gave a dentist enough money to buy a PS3 with GTA IV and the new SOCOM this morning.
