I agree, spring is the best time to visit NYC, the weather is usually great and everything's blooming!
Personally I love all the seasons here, from the hot muggy summers to the LONG seemingly never ending winters. ::grin::
It's a great place to visit, I go to the Belmont Stakes each year, but I could never live there. It is a different way of life. I guess the same could be said of the South though...

Dunno much about horse racing so I just googled the Belmont Stakes, and learned they were once run in an area adjacent to where I grew up.

No skill involved to be honest, I just pointed and shot. ( Having a good camera helps )
