Mar 27, 08 04:29 pm — Call it a case of nostalgia, call it getting old and senile, whatever... I had been thinking earlier about how long I have been coming to this site and it brought back memories of the old "Geeknews" layout (in other words, I have been here a really long time now).
Then I started thinking about how many others have been around that long and realized that there are a whole whack. So, let's find out deifnitively. How long have you been around here and do you remember those early days as vividly as I do?

Although I browsed the site for months before that, and never heard of geeknews.
I've been around since 2001.
So yea. Coming up on 8 years. And yes, I remember geeknews or whatever it was called. dent and I used to be admins on it. The only reason all this was created was to make Joe some cash, which it did. I'm surprised this site hasn't just died.

I was here a few years, left for a year and some, then came back under a new ID. A friend turned me onto this site years ago and he has never even signed up.
I joined MV May 21, 2004, but had lurked on GeekNews for a while. I was actually quite pissed when it became MV!
