her main gripe.. tv is SHITTY!! and she is wanting to watch some american tv. shes wanting to find some streaming vids of tv shows and shit like that. but winamp is slammed full as always.
anyone else got any other suggestions?
anyone know some streaming american tv sites??

ahh.. has she looked into a proxy? worse comes to worse, she should be able to find a US based web proxy service for a small monthly fee. Then she'll look like her connection is coming from the US.

not streaming per se, but she could download the shows from bittorrent -- most shows are up within a few hours after they show live.
