Hi everyone

As you go about your activities this weekend, please take just a moment on Monday to pause in honor of those who are no longer with us, because they gave their all in defense of their country and all that we hold dear.

"It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag." -- Father Denis Edward O'Brien USMC

Not to shit on your lovely sentiment here, but that quote is completely bullshit. The rights mentioned in that quote were not given to us by any fucking soliders. It was given to us by farmers, merchantment, and regular people who took up arms against the British.

That quote is some bullshit army propoganda and it pisses me off that war mongering assholes really believe shit like this. Everybody seems to forget what this country was founded on.

But in all niceness you should have a nice safe memorial day, and do remember our fallen, but not because they GAVE us freedom, but because they helped UPHOLD the freedoms behast by the constitution. And not in Iraq.

America was built by a number of various groups over the last 230+ years. Amazing that just a group of politicians are able to destroy it today.

The most important right a nation can afford it's people is the right to be left alone.

What a beautiful country we live in. May you and yours have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.

Every breath you take And every move you make Every bond you break Every step you take I'll be watching you Whisper my favorite words: "I'll buy it for you." What do people mean when they say the computer went down on me?
