Your birthday is on Purim? Woo Hoo. Had I known I would have baked you some Hamentaschen.
My "Happy Purim" post was rejected as too mainstream.
You hadn't heard ? We only approve links submitted by people we like, apparently ::grin::
I'd always suspected, but I never really got that memo.
Just don't tell anyone....its not public knowledge.
I went to an annual Purim party at my neighbors house and the guys played happy birthday on their guitars and harmonica and we all sang "Happy Birthday" to you.
It was awesome!
Queen Esther was an incredibly powerful and brilliant woman who rescued thousands of Jews from annhilation and preserved the Jewish people and their heritidge. Not too shabby, eh?
According to the Talmud, a person is required to drink until he cannot tell the difference between "cursed be Haman" and "blessed be Mordecai
As I can't tell the difference anyway, does that mean I can't have a drink?
I'm pretty sure if you drink enough, you will understand.
Its astounding what makes sense after a skinful.....
