Watching speed skating relays now. If this isnt the biggest cluster f. i have ever seen. Dont know how they keep track
i don't ever watch hockey. not nhl, not ahl, not live, not anything. saturday morning i turned on the canada women's hockey game and couldn't stop watching. they've got quite the team. they will be good to watch in the latter rounds. probably when they're playing USA for the gold.
also, curling was last night!! i almost stayed up til 2 am to watchit, but i got it on the tivo. i watched some before i came in to work. i can't wait to watch it all tonight! curling rules.
Clue to why you thought they looked great - only the US and Canada have women's hockey teams worth anything, the other countries teams are just fillers put together for the olympics. Consider the shot differential in one of Canada's games on Saturday - 60+ to 5 for the other team. Easy to look great when you're playing the sisters of the blind.
For real hockey, wait for the men to start playing, then you'll see some serious talent all across the board.
Tomorrow night's Finland game is said to a bit better. From water I've heard they have a decent team as well.

They were apparently fooled into thinking that there were rich men from other countries waiting at the ice rink to meet them, but when they showed up, they were told to play hockey instead.
