Nov 06, 05 06:06 pm — Last night we went out to dinner and saw a movie, Saw 2. We were 6 for 6 (3 couples) on Saw, made us want to go to the movies. Now of those 6 only my wife goes to the cinema regularly, me, about once a year or so (although I am considering Weatherman, any reviews out there?) and one couple probably hasn't been in 5-6 years, not that they don't have the biggest VHS & DVD collection anyway. We were 6 for 6 on Saw 2 as well. We all were very, very disappointed. The ending wasn't that great and, of course, the setup of Saw 3 was clear.

Waste of money.

Sorry to hear that, not surprised though.

Hope you at least enjoyed dinner.

Outback, not my pick and a bit spendy but the food was good and they had a nice winter ale on tap. Oh, and just in case you'd like to know, never order a Fosters in Australia. It screams tourist as loud as Cuervo Gold in Mexico.

The Outbacks I've been in in LA have an *awesome* potato soup.

Mind you, I suppose I'm biased...anyfink with potatoes is good to us lot ::grin::

Sometimes when I don't wanna cook I get the 'take away' Chicken Griller for curbside pick-up on my way home from work. Yummy!

Every breath you take And every move you make Every bond you break Every step you take I'll be watching you Whisper my favorite words: "I'll buy it for you." What do people mean when they say the computer went down on me?

I'm just not a big fan of chain resturants and their more often than not microwaved meals.

Really? Darn it I saw 'Saw' for the first time the other weekend and loved it, although I guessed the ending about half way through.

Works for a living....sigh

I was worried about Doom sucking as it seems when they make movies from video games, they miss more than they hit.
