Jan 27, 05 11:50 pm — they are considering pursuing the death penalty for the suicidal man who parked his SUV on the cali train tracks. Does any one find this stupid. Are they seriously going to spend tax payers money to make sure he suceeds this time? and doesnt the death penalty in this case make it "assisted suicide" which is illegal?
No, because our fucked up court system will find him insane and he will only spend a few months in a mental institute, while the other families suffer their loss. Is that fucker even a U.S. citizen. Guy wants to die just doesn't have the balls to do it himself... I was under the impression that to get the death penalty you had to plan out the murders. This guy was a moron, and he should be punished, but the death penalty? I don't think so.
People who kill during the commission of a serious crime, those who kill more than one person, and those who torture their victims before killing them are all eligible for the death penalty.

some one suggested prisons could cut back on gaurds if armed citizens were allowed to patrol the area around it and shoot any criminal seen escaping. ........imagine how many sick freaks would be out in the fields .....
