Nov 04, 04 09:56 am — I woke up this morning and going through my usual routine found myself getting overly excited (not like that you freaks, get your minds out of the gutter). Every morning while I have my coffee I watch BT (breakfast television), the thing that caught my eye was the forecast. CALLING FOR FLURRIES OVERNIGHT!!!

Now that weve weeded out the less fortunate individuals we can talk.
Being a Canadian everyone knows that the only form of transportation here in the winter is by snowmobile. I started riding when I was young in Montreal. I have family there. As I got older I stopped going to see my family and as such got away from sledding. Over the last four years Ive taken back to it though. Last week I got my sled a 98 Skidoo MXZ583 running and had it trailer-ed up north.

Im so looking forward to this season. Last year was one of the best ridding years Ive had and Im hoping this one will exceed it.

I don't ride, and I"m one of those that doesn't like snow, but that is an awesome sled!!!!
I ride dunes, so summer is my time to head out, either that or drive to California.

To be honest the sled is out dated in comparison to the ones available now. Skidoo completely changed the platform to ride more like a bike, incredible ride. When I can find the funds Ill get it but for the time being this one is sufficient.
I enjoy summer sports too, but my job is crazy in the summer and dead in the winter thats why I turned more to sleds.
2 stroke engine, basically a 600cc. Capable of going faster through the trails than I actually need to be going.
We rarely ever see snow in Texas so a cool toy like that is out of the question.
Not enough snow around here for a toy like that but how fun that would be!
