May 05, 04 08:07 pm — Okay, I realize a couple of weeks late, but I just dowloaded the 2nd film, watched it last night. It was a good film, interesting follow-up to the 1st, but nowhere near the second coming of christ that everyone is making it out to be. Thoughts?

Didn't really like the first one, won't go out of my way for Part 2.
I think Tarantino thinks he is much more clever than he really is. Kill Bill was just too darn smarmy for me, and I think Python does the copious blood schtick far better. I give him points for making movies that are out of the norm, but this one just didn't click on so many levels.

I love my GWAR Phallus in Wonderland video 100 times more than I liked Kill Bill part Uno.
I really enjoyed Bill 2. It was much better than the first one where QT went a bit far in fight scenes I thought. I went and saw it on the big screen at the cinema and the sound was cranked. It rocked
i agree with what yall are saying, but i did think that fight scene with lucy liu in the first one kicked much ass. there are some good sequences in the second one, but as an overall movie, no thanks...
to appreciate QT you have to be a movie lover. Not someone who things "Fast and the Furious" is badass because they talk smack and drive fast.
Now, if you liked QT's other works but not Kill Bill then you're probably not seeing it for what it is. It's a crossed genre film that touches on uncountable cliches (probably more cliches and stereotypes in this than there are X's in X-men) and yet retains it's value as a unique and very decent film in it's own standing.
I agree...Kill Bill sucked.
I saw the first one and the second one in the same week. I liked them both but thought it got a bit predictable in the second movie.
