IPv6.... something that is still a pipe dream as for seeing it in the main stream
Every year I make pumpkin cheesecake with a gingersnap crust.
Mmmmm....
Never any leftovers!
Good luck with the casserole - I hope it's yummy.

yowza--gingersnap crust...that sounds great!
thanks for the luck. now i've just got to whip those oysters into shape.
I have it on good authority that Froguana will be making TWO cheesecakes this year, and will be shipping one of them to a fellow Madvillian somewhere in the Midwest. I'll let everyone.....er....I mean, I hope this person shares a full account of just how tasty that bad boy was in a future journal.

LOL! As much as I would love to ship cheesecakes to fellow Madvillians...
This year any extra baked goods are going to the "Keep Jail out of Jail Connecticut Traffic Ticket Fundraiser/Bake Sale."

all the better reason to ship cheesecake! make a couple of bucks on shipping and sell for 5 bucks a slice.
Well! Some poor sap will be sans desert on the 27th. I hope you can live with yourself knowing the depravation you have caused.
Sand and cactus kick ass. Send a Joshua tree. I love the way those things look. I wish I could grow one here.
Mormon/Funeral potatoes. Shreded potatoes with a whole lot of cheese ect. with the Corn Flakes on the top.
Candied Yams. My moms are the best, but don't tell HER (points to my immediate right) I said that.
Mom strikes again. Pumpkin pie. Even the WalMarts can't compete with moms Punkin Pie. I can eat a whole one buy myself. I try not too as it pisses off the dad and siblings. Mom doesnt mind. ::grin::
Any type of potato... Mashed ect.
My grandmother used to make the best wine gravy ever... sadly, she died several years ago... so now, Thanksgiving is just an excuse to go out and eat and avoid all the muss and fuss....
I hear this place called mcdonalds serves a mighty fine burger.
My wife makes the best candies yams around! she can't stand them which just means more for me!::grin::
Good luck on your Oyster casserole.doesn't sound appealing to me but what do I know.
Pumpkin Cream Soup and Cranberry Gravy. Both are awesome, IMHO.
Pumpkin Cream Soup sounds wrong just so wrong!
I thought so too until I had it. One of the best things I have ever put into my mouth
Weird as it sounds... I have had it. While it is not my favorite soup (minestone), it is quite good. If you have ever had a Squash Cream soup, it is very similar.
damn. i'd hate to know what else went in your mouth if thats the case
i had some pumpkin cream soup at a restaurant last year, and it really was great. is yours spicy? the stuff i tried had a little bite to it, despite being a cream soup--it was really different, and pretty tasty.
My grammy does her own spiral glazed ham. It's made with brown sugar, cherries & bourbon. DAMN IT'S GOOD.
BAM!!! BAM!!! BAM!!! Good luck - if it goes badly though, just feed it to people you don't like. I hear seafood gone bad is a horrible way to spend your holidays.

We're gonna have pumpkin pie... that's about as special as it's gonna get... mm...
Except my mom was tellin me that she's gonna make this dish she saw where you spread the stuffing on the bottom of a pie dish, and then layer other leftovers on top... you basically make a "leftover pie"... i'm interested to try that...
When I am cooking I try to shake things up a bit. I try doing the turkey and the dressing differently every year. Same goes with the the veggies. There are however four mainstays... sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, spinach pie (greek style), and baked ziti (the wife insists on this one)
Baklava and plain cheesecake for dessert. ::grin::
Baklava, yum!
we have baklava for dessert too--i've got a greek cousin who adds her own little twist to the meal.
peanut butter cheese cake, the stuff rocks!
"peanut butter cheese cake"
I think I love you
I just had my thanksgiving, a day early. Roasted a 12-pound turkey, made turkey sandwiches, ginger pumpkin soup, and banana-carrot bread for 29 people.
Then I went out and marked a 7.5 km cross-country running trail for them all to run, delivered 12 crates of beer, soft drinks, and ice to the spot, along with the food.. fed them when they were done, we had a great time playing around, then I loaded up all into the jeep again to take it home.
They enjoyed the run and the food. So did I, but I'm beat...
Here is the Frozen Peanut Butter Cheese Cake recipe.
cup peanut butter
cup milk
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 cup whipped topping
Chopped Reeses Peanut butter cups and or Reeses Pieces
Best thing is to get the 9 Oreo Pie crust
Combine peanut butter, milk and cream cheese in large mixing bowl on low speed. Add powdered sugar and whipped topping; mix until smooth. Pour into Oreo Pie crust. Freeze until firm. Place Reeses on top and drizzle chocolate and caramel syrup on top.
that's an awful lot of activity for thanksgiving day...sounds fun though!

THANKS. I know what Im doing this weekend
jail
this has always been a big issue for a few years now. many providers have done away with offering websites its own ip, and host all the domains on the same IP. I figure that must help a lot, but not enough providers probably do this.
Wasnt there also some kind of new IP format coming out as well that would offer a ton more IPs ?
