Jun 15, 03 09:04 am — I know there are a lot of gamers here, and I'm kind of curious - when you play FPS games, do you invert the Y-Axis or not?
I play games with the Y-axis inverted, feels more normal.

Long overdue patches. Don't worry, you'll see lots of Windows holes in the near future. I'm not anti windows or pro linux. I have love in some ways for them both. But neither is perfect.

I don't talk acronyms, but I assume your talking about flight simulators. I play with the Y axis inverted, as in pull back to go up.
FPS = First Person Shooter.
I don't think I ever invert the Y-Axis (unless it's a flight sim, like you said)
I play FPSs almost exclusively. I do leave the Y-Axis as is, but I always end up changing the movement keys to match my preferences:
c = crouch
space = jump
r = reload
arrow keys = move
tab = mission info / objectives
enter = use key
Sadly, there's not much out there worth playing right now. I'm plodding my way through Unreal II (
), and have Red Faction II coming up next, but I don't have really high hopes for that one either. The next good soon-to-be-released FPS I know of is Star Trek: Elite Force II -- coming out next week.
